Try Boot Camp or Parallels or CrossOver Games. Central is watching your every move, and would very much appreciate it if you gave the game a try. The graphics and gameplay are spot on for a retro adventure game feel, and the various back drops you adventure in (not to mention its AI personality) make the city a character of its own. The year is 2087, the genetic engineering doesnt surprise anyone. One aspect that comes up several times in the game that I enjoyed was needing to switch around the personalities of various low level AI's or androids in order to get the information you need from them. Technobabyln is an adventure point & click game developed by Technocrat Games. There's plenty of hacking and using your items to get yourself out of difficult situations to worry about. That's not to say the gameplay is all sit back and watch. Test my PC Check Prices () If you have any love for adventure games (especially nostalgic 2D point n click efforts) or smartly written sci-fi, Technobabylon is a no-brainer. It definitely keeps things interesting, but in a few places can be confusing or unclear. Its all-seeing CEL police force keeps tabs on everyone, including three people who are about to meet their maker.Charlie Regis, an agent of the city’s all-seeing secret police. The story is complicated, which is both a plus and a minus. Technobabylon - The year 2087 is upon us a future where genetic engineering is the norm, the addictive Trance has replaced almost any need for human interaction, and an omnipresent AI named Central powers the city. You are running an investigation, after all, so the more information you have, the more sense everything starts to make. Plus it's an important way for the player to learn more about this futuristic city and the forces that drive it. But it’s also a delicate story of individuals, personal. It is, in that sense, delightfully pulp sci-fi. It has restored my faith that the genre deserves high. Set in a semi-dystopian future, the game features multiple protagonists exploring a tale of genetic engineering (genineering), AI overseers, mysterious mind-hacking murders, and overlapping online and offline worlds. The dialog is well written, and the voice acting is very well done, which make the characters really come alive. It’s a game that proves to me that I’m right to demand so much more from point-n-clickers that get eulogised despite their enormous flaws. The game is heavily story driven, so sometimes you'll sit back and have long conversations with the other characters. While this does make you feel the characters are yours, and various scenes can play out in different ways, it doesn't have much effect on the final outcome of the game. There are sometimes different ways to accomplish your objectives depending on the dialog choices you make. Right click to examine objects you have, and left click to pick it up to use it in your environment. Your inventory is opened by moving the mouse to the panel on the bottom right of the screen. Left click to try to use an item or object in the room, or right click for a description of it. Regis, for example, while an accomplished genetic engineer, is a bit old fashioned when it comes to technology. You switch between controlling the three main characters throughout the story, and each has their own strength or weakness.
